About: as growth

I'm Luca Taurisano are a software developer, analyst. Bitsharp born with the idea to introduce myself and share my knowledge and experiences with enthusiasts as well as developing new technologies and architectures software. In my work I will do everything to apply agile methodologies and test driven design, where possible. I hope to share as much as possible.

One of the things I keep in mind is The cult of done manifesto:
  1. There are three states of being. Not knowing, action and completion.
  2. Accept That everything is a draft. It helps to get it done.
  3. There is no editing stage.
  4. Pretending you know what you're doing is Almost The Same as knowing what you are doing, so just accept That you know what you're doing even if you do and do it.
  5. Banish procrastination. If you wait more than a week to get an idea done, abandon it.
  6. The point of being done is not to finish but to get other things done.
  7. Once you're done you can throw it away.
  8. Laugh at perfection. It's boring and Keeps you from being done.
  9. People without dirty hands are wrong. Doing something Makes you right.
  10. Failure counts as done. So do mistakes.
  11. Destruction is a variant of done.
  12. If you have an idea and publish it on the internet, That counts as a ghost of done.
  13. Done is the engine of more.

BNP Paribas Security Servicies (2007-2012)
Area: Finance

I worked as analysis and development on .Net framework 2.0/3.5/4.0 mainly in C # using Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 on a project that deals with the calculation of taxes on securities trading. The application is structured in 2 business layer, a portion of the front end made of a custom framework in asp .Net and made a part of the back end with a different batch and SSIS Package written in C #. The approach to the development is mainly in (TDD) Test Driven Design with the aid of Continuous Integration tools. Beyond that I often maintain and modify the tool DataStage TX transcoding some systems that allow data uploading to the table of some types of files. Furthermore, this activity gave me the opportunity to deepen my knowledge in the world, especially in finance and trading. In the last 6 months I moved onto another project that deals with the validation of the prices of securities and derivatives trading, using the same technologies. In this case it is used with a DataLayer custom code generated destination.
